I Had To Look It Up...Gangnam Style

First watch this, then I guess I'll sorta attempt to explain what this is...



Well first of all...this is the shit. I mean c'mon how can one not be overwhelmed by...by...I don't even know what to call it. It is from Korea but it's not K-Pop. That is something different in that this dude is in his 30's and the whole production is just freekin' terrible...or is it.

Of course I'm  not going to bother anyone with those pesky facts and information and stuff. This article at The Atlantic is very informative, but dude got most of the info from a Korean in America-blogger-grrl. OK I'll give you a hint.

Gangnam is a super rich neighborhood in South Korea and everyone is blinded by the quest for material wealth and, there is always an and folks...the start of the video-Psy-is making social commentary while doing his best Weird Al Yankovic imitation.

Obviously...right.
