I get touchy feely here and sometime attempt to build bridges made of some really strong material, or go all olive branch out to liberal and even moderate religion. I dunno how, but sometimes I forget about the extremists. After all, they are the ones that made the world go round (on both or all sides), and then...boom.

I Googled "olive branch hotties" for this one.

Taliban have claimed responsibility to shooting a 14 y/o activist who remains in critical condition. Malalai Yousafzai was shot (yesterday?) because she was an advocate of girl's education. (I know I haven't been thinking about this lately, but...) Those Taliban guys are, like, all like the ladies halfta stay at home, cover up and squirt out babies. In that equation, there is no room for and education, no matter how basic.

Are things getting better or are they getting worse. In Afghanistan there is a gender apartheid suppressing the lady folk supported by Taliban. Commenting on the incident, it is no wonder (alleged) Taliban say things like, "She was pro west. She was speaking against the Taliban and calling President Obama her ideal leader...She was young but she was promoting Western Culture in Pashtun areas."

That last line sounds like they asked him, "but she is so young, 14, why did your group shoot her?" Then without even looking at the person asking the question, he nonchalantly mumbles *bam*. What a douche bag mother fucker (yea, I said that), then take a drag from his douche bag cigarette.  As for teh rest of it...

Isn't pro-Western on the top ten list of vague-y vague terms to say when trying to explain something detailed and important...right next to she was speaking against the Taliban (WTF, that could be, anything-right), and as far as her thinking the super awesome Black Prez is *ideal* in some way(s)...I think that's more about a young girl, hero worship (or not) and puberty than game changing politics. Sheez.

I don't care what anyone says about you, Mr. President. I would jump in front of a bullet for you anyday (and if ya wanted, I'd punch someone in the face. Don't answer now...just think about it.). Lates.

Don't mistake this young lady's youth for not being totally formidable. Here's the little blerp that UNICEF wrote about her and here's an Urdu interview on a show that looks like Good Morning (Insert country here) hosted by Miss Brown hottie (Heyyyyyy), there is that little BBC Blog called The Dairy of a Pakistani School Girl and because of THAT blog she was nominated for something called the International Children's Peace Award, even better, after that she DID recieve an award called the National Peace Prize (errr, at least I do think they are different) which, get this, later the NPP was renamed after...guess who.

She wanted to go into politics (and I hope that she get's the chance) but as of right now she's going to a third world hospital in a culture that, just like their brothers from the other two main religions, look at women as second class citizens. Because their particular God coincidentally said the same thing as the other two major religions' gods (men first, women and cattle second), she is not allowed to be an advocte for education or a holder of mere ideals.

"How was your day at school, honey baby-bew." "Oh you know mom, the Taliban threw acid on my face." Don't forget the Taliban acid face attracts on girls that are trying to go to school...school.

The whole frackin' world can love her and give her praise and give her chances, but the followers of orders that got their orders (probably) from an uneducated elder male that got his orders from the one book that he was taught to read and the only book he has read, can easily change the good and the positive and fuck yea...years and years, sacrifice after sacrifice, then years and years again, before and after all that effort,                   it can all change in an uneducated instant with the mindless pull of a trigger.
