Sad news for  New Orleans , Sad news for the religion beat, and sad news for just plain ole journalism.

Award winning journalist Bruce Nolan  did not survive the Black Tuesday of New Orleans Picayune layoffs.

Seems stupid on so many levels. The irony being that in days The Southern Baptist Convention in New Orleans will be electing a New Orleans Pastor as it's first black President. Hoping they keep him there long enough to cover that.
